BCU’s MBA (under CBCS) is structured as a 2-year full-time programme across 4 semesters. The first two semesters focus on core/compulsory papers; subsequent semesters include specialization papers, electives/open-electives, soft-core courses, and project/dissertation work.
At Impact, following BCU’s framework, the MBA will follow this 4-semester flow — giving a balanced mix of foundational knowledge (early semesters), specialization & electives (middle semesters), and practical/ research-oriented work (project/internship/dissertation) in later semesters.
The overarching goals of a BCU-aligned MBA include building comprehensive managerial knowledge across all functional areas, developing specialization-specific expertise, enhancing analytical, decision-making and research skills (via projects/dissertation), and preparing students for real-world business challenges via internship/industry exposure. (Based on general MBA programme objectives and structure.)
At Impact, our objective is to offer students robust academic training + practical exposure so that upon graduation they are equipped with: solid conceptual understanding, specialization-level competence, practical experience, research/analytical abilities, soft skills and industry readiness — making them well-prepared for corporate roles or entrepreneurial ventures.
Under BCU-affiliation, MBA institutions often integrate practical exposure — many affiliated colleges list internships, live projects, or industry-interaction sessions as part of their MBA experience.
At Impact, we aim to provide similar industry exposure: students will have opportunities for summer internships, live projects or industry-linked assignments (depending on availability), to apply classroom learning to real-world business situations.
According to sample MBA regulations adopted by BCU-affiliated institutions: after second semester, students may undertake project work (on a live management problem) and submit a project report; further, a dissertation (in the area of specialization) along with viva-voce is required at the end of the programme. At Impact, as per BCU norms, MBA students will be required to undertake a project / dissertation under faculty guidance — helping them develop analytical, research and problem-solving skills relevant to industry or academic inquiry.
Modern MBA programmes (especially under BCU and other established institutions) employ a mix of teaching methods: lectures, case-studies, group discussions, industry/live projects, seminars, and field-visits to bridge theoretical learning with practical
At Impact, the MBA curriculum covers foundational courses such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Organisational Behaviour, Operations Management, and quantitative methods — giving a solid base in all core business disciplines.
