Happy to Announce The Dr. V. M. I. Nambissan Memorial Library is pleased to organise an “E-Resource Search Competition Using the OPAC System” as part of the National Librarians’ Day Celebration, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. S. R. Ranganathan, the Father of Library and Information Science in India.
The competition aims to enhance students’ information retrieval skills and promote effective utilisation of the Library’s OPAC and electronic resources.
All students of IMPACT College of Engineering and Applied Sciences and IIMS are cordially invited to participate.

• Eligibility: All Students of ICEAS & IIMS
Competition Highlights
Participants will be required to:
• Search for books and electronic resources using the Library OPAC.
• Locate the required resources accurately within the given time.
• Demonstrate effective use of the Library’s OPAC search features and electronic resources.
🏆 Prizes will be awarded to the winners during the National Librarians’ Day Celebration on 12 August 2026.
Students are encouraged to participate enthusiastically and showcase their library search skills while celebrating National Librarians’ Day.
